2016: Falreil

 (It got cut off at the bottom, but I swear I'll fix it)

One moment, Falreil is escaping slavery. The next, she's waking up with a 300 year old unicorn and a hyper talking dog watching her.

She's an elf. She's a prophesied hero. And she has no clue how to stop the civil war.

In which an escaped slave girl, a unicorn, and a talking dog set off to stop a war and choose the next Queen of Farendon, and almost die a lot along the way.

or

The Queen and her sister battle over the throne of Farendon. Falreil is caught in the middle of it all. The Queen isn't who she says she is. Falreil just wants the war to end so she can live normally.

2015: Phoenix Rising

("The Flames that Scorch my Soul" was an alternate title that I thought about using. Obviously, I decided on "Phoenix Rising".)

     Rowan’s different. She knows that now. Maybe she’s always known it, deep down inside. But now, the fire is kindled, literally, and her family is dead. Burned by her own flames. Her home, reduced to ashes. Her friends, terrified and injured. Herself, rejected. Cast out. Abandoned. There’s nothing left for her except to either die or buy some spandex and do what the scientists meant for her to do. Save the world under an alias. And so, Phoenix is born. She joins up with two other ‘superheroes’, Evershade and Bluejay. Also outcasts. And when a string of ‘accidents’ occurs, the trio’s teamwork, skill, and loyalty are put to the test. But what they don’t know, is that the criminal has been hiding right under their noses.
